How do I use my laptop as an X-Box 360 monitor to record gameplay?

I have a HUB/Router and can connect them for media share and everything. Is there any way I can record from that?

Update:

Alezrex, I get what you are saying, but I was told that if you have a computer running on Windows then you could, and I know people who do it.

You can not use your laptop's monitor as a xbox monitor.

Because xbox 360 and the laptop have the same HDMI entry.

( A HDMI cable has an entry and an output slot, 2different entries)

Becuase both are gaming machines and are used to play games.

The HDMI output matches with a TV's slot, because the TV doesn't have a a processor, RAM, etc.

In conclusion, you will need a TV with HDMI and a HDMI cable.

    Got it?
