what do you think is better, PS3, Wii or an xbox 360?
i know loads of people argue about which is better mostly the PS3 and Xbox 360, but i don't get why. they both play games, yeah the ps3 has better graphic and everything and works much better, also it has more good games out like little big planet and what not. but the xbox is cheap at start without the added online and what ever but i don't play my xbox online so yeah, and it has good games like gears of war. whilst the Wii is just to play for fun in a group or something.
imo - the ps3 is better because it has better graphics (some say it doesn't matter but i disagree i like a sharp picture in great detail), it has better games ( but they should just bring them all out on all consoles), you can get a bigger hard-drive for it, cheaper in long run as you don't have to pay for online and it has always had the wireless built-in.
And the xbox fails in so many ways, disc scratches so easily because of the unprotected lazer, makes a really loud noise, has a huge assed power pack - that can crackle like pop corn onn the new slim ( which looks like they just got a hammer and whack each side in and its not really that much smaller), bad graphics, bad frame rate, over heats very quickly, generally sucks.
then the Wii - it is good fun, has some good games on it, not shooting games which i prefer if i am alone, but brilliant if you got some friends over for the Wii Fit or something like that. but then the PS3 is bringing out its motion plus which seems better for shooters or what ever is available but i would still play group games on Wii, while the xbox has the video sensor which seems lame and pointless, but then microsoft is bringing out there new motion thing without and need for a controller but it costs £1000 therefore way over priced for something that will break easily being microsoft (they should stick to doing softwear).
now you have hurd my opinion what do you think?
also one more thing i forgot, if you are bothed about graphics and game play and things why not get a computer, you can make it as fast as you like and up the gfx card a lot, you can keep up-grading it to what you want it to be -- simples.
to Tom if your fed up with people doing what i have aprently done, why say that which can cause an arguement its self a bit hippocritcal isn't it?

aha i like it how all the people who think the xbox 360m is better just say its better in the simplest way ever while the PS3 people say many reasons and the Wii people just say its funner
i own all 3 and i ahev to say ps3 is better then any of them, but just get a computer you can do everything on them plus way more - up-grade it to how ever you want, make maps download maps that other poeple have made for free, mod it to hell in modded servers etc...
to nili - i like your Wii report type thing, but i have to say i know there are shooters for it but they dont feel right i know you can get thigns to attach to your remote to make it look like a gun but it just feels crap to be honest the aiming tends to be wrong on it as well. But good report or arguement or what ever you want to call it
i know i have writen a lot but i liek to reply to people and i cant do it straight to there message if i can please let me know.

I believe that it complety depends on the person, but:
Firstly, Wii is not for just when your friends are over or anything, it can be played happily by oneself. I own a Wii in my household so i know how it works and the qualities of it. I'd say the graphics are pretty dam good and that it's totally worth the money. People may think this is stupid, but it's actually more healthier to play the Wii than the X box and PS3 but it's true because you move more in practically every wii game than any other xbox and ps3 game, so it benifets your health quite a fair bit.
And secondly, ther are quite a lot of shooting Wii games available and what you can do, is actually shoot at hte screen, you can even buty wii moulds taht attach to the wii remote to make it feel and look like a big gun.
Thirdly，the Wii is light, so it makes it really easy and transportable so that you can take it to friend's houses and parties.
Plus, new technology is always going to be coming out all the time, which means that the ps3 with it's new motion sensor is soon enough going to be in the past, so is the wii, but wii hasn't had an improvemnt since the original came out.
It is of course entirely your choice, but I highly recommend the Wii, for it has many benifets.
I have a friend with a ps3 and i have to admit the quality is pretty good, for xbox, never played one, but i don't really think highly of it.

I'm fed up of these idiots asking this intentionally to start people arguing. You just delivered a review of the Xbox, Bad graphics. Bad framerate.. You are seriously trying to start flame wars. Just get the hell out of here. The Xbox has some of the best graphics you can get. Along near the ps3. I have a ps3 and I like it but there is no denying the xbox comes in about equal. Stop this.

I like the wii because of how interactive a lot of the game and features. Though most wii games are meant to be played with friends and the single player games for wii are somewhat lacking as far as I've heard and played. But I also like the ps3 because it has a lot of great games.

in short, i prefer my ps3 more than the other ones. it has more features, sharper graphics since it does dynamics better, and free online play. oh, and i love the design of the sony controller. it works for any genre of game.
360 is fun, but doesn't measure up.
wii is a joke: i haven't touched it in months. it doesn't even have hd compatibility.
i don't care which one you prefer, since 360 and ps3 are both excellent systems. it's just that people have their own preferences.
edit: on a side note, i enjoy how everyone who says 360 can't exactly back it up, save for one reason: halo.

PC owns all consoles by far... The controllers are way clumsier than good old mouse and keyboard... Plus it keeps reminding you that you're in a game, it's hard to get the full experience ("press circle now")...
I wish more games were released for PC and less exclusively for consoles.

PS3. It's all about the games, and as you said, PS3 has better games. I personally don't care about graphics as long as it's decent.
The other advantage is the the PS3 has Blu-ray which is great for watching movies.

From your discussion It looks like each has its importance. PS3 for graphics, wii for group play and xbox for price.
So its hard to compare them.
