How does tonsillitis present?
My daughter has a white top on her left tonsil, sore throat, left ear pain, low grade fever (100.4) How would we know if it is tonsillitis?

Sounds like your daughter has strep throat due to the white patch on her tonsil. I recommend that she be seen by a physician very soon, since it is very contagious. He or she will prescribe antibiotics. Make sure that she takes them at the prescribed times and most importantly, finish the whole prescription even if she is feeling better. Tylenol is good for any discomfort and gargle with 1 teaspoon of salt in a glass of water for throat pain. In addition, salt is healing and the bacteria do not like that environment. I hope she feels better soon and this is helpful.

white spots on tonsils and high temp i had it before get antibiotics act quick get to dr asap, before it turns into something called quincy .good luck
