Questions about "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"?

1. What 19th century literary technique does Mark Twain use to structure the book?

2. What is Hank's true reality in the end? 528 A.D. or 1828 A.D.?

Any help is well appreciated!

    1. The dream narrative--the blending of reverie and reality. (How does one know the difference?)

    2. The book suggests that reality changes throughout history. Hank Morgan at the end is living at the end of the 19th century, and that seems to be more real because that is where he is then. However, when he is in medieval times, they are the reality. There is no absoluteness in _A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court._ Morgan Le Fay (note the link to Hank Morgan via the name) is just as real as King Arthur, and they both are as real as the tour guide and the central figure, Hank Morgan.
