Question for people 50 or over?

The question is simple: from your life experience, if you could sum up the meaning of life, what would it be?

Really think about this...don't just give the first generic answer that pops into your head.

Thank you!

As you're young, - live like a wise old person.

As you become old, - don't loose the 'edge' that young people have.

I am 62. I think my life has been given meaning by fulfillment. It is important not to get to a stage where you have regrets about an important aspect of your life that you could have done something about. I dont mean regrets that you couldnt find a cure for cancer or invent a time machine. I mean regrets that you didnt see places you wanted to see, learn about things you wanted to know about and kept close those people you wanted to be close.

If you can reach 70 and look back with satisfaction that you have done all that you reasonably could do and look forward with goals that you are still able to reach you will have lived a fulfilled life.

Well, imagine Life as a video game where you have to amass skill points based on lessons learned. Screw up and it's a "tilt" and you're back to square one. Tilt once too often and it's game over (or prison).

You get bonus points for every child you have that turns out right.

The meaning of life is to learn enough to reach the next game level.

I think that sums it up pretty well.

    By the way, I'm 53.
