No, I'm 99.99999999% sure it is a scam to get your personal information.

    ABSOLUTELY NOT.

If you get a message like this, DO NOT respond to it with your username or password! Yahoo already HAS your username and password, and they can get rid of your account at any time, as well as adjust any settings to it (although they do not do that, but they have the power to).

If you get a message like this, it means that it's someone that's trying to hack into your account by getting your password, and then changing the password as well as the recovery email address so you cannot access the account anymore. Then they'll probably use it to find personal information about you that they can benefit off of.

    DO NOT RESPOND TO IT.

    No never. Im 100% sure.

No one does except someone trying to access your account.

    If youre ever in doubt--

forward the email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com and they will email you back with a confirmation.
