can someone tell me what kind of dvd or cd to use to burn picture from my pc?

What you use really depends on how many pictures and their file sizes. If you know how to find the size of all your pictures together jump down to Step 2.

Step1. Make sure you have all the pictures you want to burn in one folder just right click on the folder and then click on Properties from the drop down list. In the pop-up it should tell you Size(size of all the data in the folder).

Step 2. If the size of all the pictures together is less than or equal to 700 MB then you can use the standard CD-R discs. Otherwise you will need to buy DVD-Rs which hold up to 4.7 GB.

All writable cd/dvd discs can be used to burn picture from your pc, such as CD-R, CD-RW ,DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc, but you just need to use a right burning software.

If you just want to burn the pictures into dvd/cd disc as data disc, you can use RZ Free DVD Burner, it's free, it can directly burn any files or folders onto any cd&dvd discs as data discs, the burned data discs can be opened on your computer, but can't be played on DVD player.
