do you have to take a test to get back into public school after home schooling for one year ?

I'm being in home school this year, I failed last year because I missed to many days and was late to much and my grades weren't the best either. But Now I want to go back to school. And for once I want to care about learning and my grades. So I'm going back next year, and I'm wanting to know if there's a test I have to take to see if I know what I'm suppose to and what grade I need to be in ?

I'm just wondering cause A few people have told me you do

and some told me you didn't.

It really depends on the HS laws where you live and the policies of the school district you are entering

Sense....While it varies from school district to school district, most in GA will tell you that it is required that the student take the CRCT test for the highest grade completed before the student is allowed to enter at grade level. While this is not required by the homeschool laws the schools pretty much have the upper hand.

in California, you've sign up on the hot college and they require the transcripts for the toddler and evaluate them. it really is how they tell what grade factor the toddler will be on. they have megastar checks at particular grades that you're taking to be certain your toddler, that are college huge so perhaps in case you have not taken the eighth grade attempt you've were given to take it, also in case your mothers and fathers do no longer favor you examined i trust you do not must be examined. they have a attempt talked about as CASEE that you're taking for prime go out, popular because the highschool go out exam incorporates 2 factors English, and Math, and in case you do not bypass those 2 checks you gained't get a level. you receives a paper declaring what percentage years you've attended the school.

It depends on the state that you live in. Your parents should be able to call your local school district and ask them what the requirements are, but if they have been homeschooling, they likely already know. In Georgia, there is no test required to re-enter public school, however there is a standardized test required of all home schooled students every 3rd year. Attendance records are also required each month from your parents. Good luck!

Every school's policy is different. Some will require a test... others will not. You'll have to speak with the school you will be attending.
