if you delete a game on youre xbox 360 memory, will the achievments/avatar items from that game be deleted too?

i need more space so i can get some borderlands add ons

    You will keep all achievements/avatar items that you have earned from any game, despite whether or not you keep your game saves. :]

    Achievements are linked to your xbox live account not your system. So no they will not be deleted.
