CSA we have one Kid wives ex-has the other now he put in claim.?

I work but wife does not. Do they take account my income?? I do'nt want to give her ex my money. I have my two own kids to look after.

He does not work never has. It would beunfair if his kid gets more than theother?

Any advice.

Update:

I try to explain more clear.

My wife had two kids with her ex-husband. He also has another child with him.

One child lives with her ex-husband and the other one lives with us and our other two children.

I work and her ex does not work. Will they take account my wages?

If we both have one of the children what is the point of him trying to claim csa?

Would he get more because I work? t

your income would not take into account.and your wife does not work then she has no income.the Csa can not take anything from her .and you do not have any responsibility for her children from her x marriage

what state are you in? In Califronia child support uses a software program called DISSOMETER. It both parents' takes household income (that means all wages earned by married couple), homeowners tax and dependants. Then they put that up against the percent time the child is with each parent. A figure is spit out. Good luck

in the uk , yes they will take it from your wages, but with you having 3 children at home, it wont be a lot. your wife's ex , if he's on benifits will only get about £10 a month. check out the website for a rough idea on how much you would have to pay. good luck

spouses incomes have no bearing at all....

but my questions to you are...especially since he isnt working: Why does he have her child and not her?

and what do you think is suppose to happen with this child if she doesnt contribute to his financial needs??? If her only income is you, then you will have to provide for the child with your money....or are you comfortable letting that child go without?

so even though the courts will not consider your income, which they absolutely CANT DO, if she is ordered to pay support...you wont be willing to help her do that?
