hotel in Ft Lauderdale FL near port everglades that you can leave you car while on a cruise?

When we cruise out of Ft Lauderdale we drive down a day early and stay overnight at a hotel/motel. This Hampton Inn advertises stay and cruise and provides a shuttle to the pier:

The good part about this is you get the free breakfast before the cruise and you are only about 15 minutes from the pier.

There's a very good parking facility right at the cruise ship terminal dock (see links, below), so, why not just park your car there?

Most hotels will allow you to leave the car if you are staying a day or more before and after the cruise. If not, plan on parking at the pier.

Various hotels and motels in the area will allow you to leave your car at no charge for the duration of your cruise, and will even take you to the dock on day of sailing. (You need to take a taxi back to the hotel after the cruise.) However, this presumes that you have reservations to stay overnight at the hotel before and after the cruise.
