Should I trade Steven Jackson for Andre Johnson?

I'm looking to upgrade at wide receiver and one owner in a league I'm in and the owner that has Andre Johnson has him on the block. I'm thinking of offering Steven Jackson, which would leave me with Pierre Thomas, Felix Jones, Steve Slaton, and Julius Jones as running backs. My wide receivers are currently Chad Ochocinco, Robert Meachum, Devin Aromashadu, and Eddie Royal. My other offer would be Meachum and Jones for him since he already has Reggie Bush and Terrell Owens, so offering Ochocinco or Pierre Thomas would mean having players on the same team in the same position for him. I'm afraid if I trade Jackson I'll be too weak at running back but I think I'm more confident in having Pierre Thomas as a #1 back than I am with Ochocinco as the #1 receiver which is what I currently have.

Update:

My team does not look that great yes, but a lot of people didn't make the draft and the autodraft screwed them. There's also quite a few who don't know what they're doing in fantasy. The rest of my team is Tom Brady, Jason Witten, Cowboys, Rob Bironas, Matthew Stafford, Jeremy Shockey, and Browns.

Update 2:

Waco: There's 13 teams in the league. This owner was willing to trade a backup for Andre Johnson because he doesn't like him saying he didn't fit with his team. If you look at the other rosters in the league you would definitely say I have one of the better teams, believe me. I only made the offer more fair because other owners were saying they would veto it for collusion reasons the way we had it. I won this particular league last year with better players and plenty of FA gold but I've done very well in the past with worse.

UHHH YEAH! That's a huge upgrade. The #1 Receiver for the #9 or 10 RB. Take him no questions asked

how many teams in your league? huge factor

you will not get the #1 preseason WR, and first round player for any of what you said after Jackson for him.

Jackson for him MIGHT fly, but he probably took Andre before Jackson and he is only placing him on the market to see what kind of offers he gets.

Felix Jones and Meachum for Andre is a horrible offer. Don't bother insulting the other owner

You are pretty shot any way you look at it.. .Hopefully you can find FA gold at some point.

and hopefully this is a 14 or 16 team league... or you are way behind the 8 ball from the get-go

Your team will be a little weak no matter what. That being said, Johnson is money in the bank! He is practically a guaranteed number 1 overall fantasy receiver with Moss. The problem with Jackson is that the Rams have no passing game. Also, how many more seasons can he be the whole team without spending major time on the bench with a serious injury? Make the trade but realize that neither is going to make you a great team.

Johnson has been scuffling with numerous injuries. that's a splash volatile by using fact it rather is impossible to assert if he would be waiting to proceed to be healthful. nonetheless, i like the deal. Jackson is the only offensive option in St. Louis (which hurts by using fact opposing defenses understand that). he gets the yards yet do not seek for him to attain a lot going forward. A healthful AJ and a pairing of a few mix of your different WRs in accordance with matchups and MJD + Lynch could be extra efficient than what you have have been given now. nonetheless, there is threat by using fact of Johnson's injuries. If that's a keeper league i'd rather do it. AJ will stay an elite WR for years yet to return jointly as Jackson (except traded) would in no way be a fantasy stud returned.
