It is a combination of things - he was expected to have the "racing gene" handed down in the Mears family. He made some bad decisions and got some bad breaks. He was in good equipment when he wasn't experienced enough. I think that he just started growing up when he became a father.. Now that he has gained some maturity, there are no really good rides. He has a second chance coming up. I hope that he will make the most of it.

No... There are a techniques too many variables that NASCAR itself can not administration. as an occasion, a tire is going flat, the engine encounters issues, those are 2 situation among a itemizing of many different issues that would desire to bypass incorrect for a vehicle that ppl would desire to think of is getting the nod for a definite race. It became rumored/speculated that Jr. became getting a "particular" plate at plate races by using fact he his vehicle became so sturdy outdoors of the draft and his vehicle could not be caught. became the race mounted? No. Imo, motive force skills/skills has a lot to do with how a vehicle will carry out. If the vehicle is dialed in, the vehicle would be pushed to it rather is limits, unlike a vehicle that would desire to be loose or too tight, the set up makes a international of difference. As I already wrote, for NASCAR to even attempt to "restore" a race would be ridiculous, by using fact NASCAR can not administration the "what ifs' that would desire to take place.

  • Just not a good driver though had great teams and opportunities to preform...he just didn't. To be honest I am surprised he even has a sometime ride. Won't be long and he will fade away much like Jon Wood.

Probably a little of all of the above. But as a driver, he's had plenty of good opportunities and basically failed each time.

Sonny is right about the trucks. But I can think of two teams, where he was starting to run good, then lose his ride or that crew chief, so it kinda seems that he has gotten some raw deals.
