Good point. CNN was telling how great it was for the president that a whole 17% of the people that OPPOSED the unconstitutional health care scam thought it should be more "liberal" and give the government more control in it's restriction of personal health care choices.

Nobody is saying the economy is GOOD. Merely that it has started to recover.

Of course when domestic investment took a dive in 2006 ushering in this recession it was Republicans boasting about how strong the economy was.

I've yet to hear them say that. I hear them say unemployment is stubbornly high but the economy has somewhat stabilized.

But allow me to refresh your memory:

During the primaries Bush said the fundamentals of the economy were sound. John McCain repeated that very same comment. After he said he knew nothing about economics. Then it blew up in both their faces.

the regime is now using a term "lives touched" by the stimulus...not just saved or created...Biden says we are on the right path,...hmmm...somehow i don't think i want to be touched by anything from these guys...talk about cooties....Neilson would have a ball talking about em....some one should find him and ask him...

I think they are comparing it to those last 6 months of the Bush economy which was in an uncontrollable dive.

This was the case until the stimulus bill took effect.
