What else will ducks eat?

What a waste of money . Buy some Cracked Corn or Poultry grains they are much cheaper and healthier.

What you are feeding them on now is no good at all there is no food value to them only bulks them up and makes them feel full.

Both of those things will make them sick. The cheapest treat for ducks are slugs. I use to collect them and throw them at my ducks and they would go wild. If you don't want to mess with the slimy goo you can feed ducks old veggies but they might not be as eager to eat them. Geese love pumpkin.

ducks loveee potato chips but make sure that there not salted. crush them and place them n the water so that they get a little wet makng it softer when it goes down the isophigus. oh happines and is wrong bread and crackers are fine for ducks and geese.

oh and about the expence problem, you can buy a big bag of potato chips for really cheep and the big bag would be an investment because it would last a long time.
