Can you get unemployment if you were fired in the first 90 days on the job in Florida?

I was fired for being late twice during my 90 day probation period. I was terminated at the very end of the probation though (as in the day my boss & I were going to go over everything & I was going to be a regular employee, I got fired. Oh, and I had been working there a liiiiiitttle longer than 90 days. (like maybe 95 days. lol) Would I be able to draw unemployment in the state of FL?

Without even mentioning the first 90 days, you would not qualify for unemployment because you were fired due to your own fault. You can't be fired for something that goes against company policy (being late) and collect unemployment. You must be laid off or quit due to a hostile work environment.

Generally speaking, you cannot collect unemployment inside your probation period. That is one of the reasons it's called probation.

Nope, sorry. You were fired and only lasted 90 days in the job. To qualify you need to be laid off with at least a year of working. You don't qualify for benefits less than a year, or FIRED! So, the answer is NO! Good luck finding a job, and stop showing up late!

getting fired means you dont get unemployment. especially for that reason being a GOOD reason to fire you. so it doesnt matter whether you where there 90 days, or 9 you got fired with reason. meaning no unemployment

you will possibly probable ought to be there a particular timeframe so as to qualify for UE. ninety days seems in need of the timeframe... frequently its an entire 365 days. so i might say which you won't qualify for UE
