Suburban Credit Corporation?
I've been receiving calls from an automated machine/ real person saying that I owe money to the BestPractices of Pennsylvania for outstanding hospital bills, and have received a real paper bill for this as well. I was told that the outstanding balance has been sent to a debt collector -- Suburban Credit Corporation-- now I'm pretty sure that the hospital bills in question have already been paid. And I have looked up both Suburban Credit Corp and BestPractices of PA. For Suburban Credit Corp I could find no formal webpage, only forums telling of people who have been called by these people making the calls sound like a scam. And for BestPractices, I found nothing at all. The number that shows up on the caller ID is 703-921-2258. Has anyone been contacted by these people? If so, are they legit? How did you handle the situation.
Additional info: The man who called me the second time did not give me his name. But he had a strong accent, maybe Indian. Also, they have been calling around the same time everytime: around 8:30 to 9 in the morning.

First, check with the hospital to make sure the bills were paid. Track down proof of payment.
If you have proof of payment in full and/or the hospital shows no balance due, tell the collectors to stop calling as the debt is not valid.

Suburban Credit Corporation is a scam. They have been sending me collection letter asking for my credit card account number which is odd and a red flag. Usually the consumer has options to pay a bill. I called the BBB and report them. I want them out of business and do time and face fines for all the harrassment they cause people. **** them! I pray they get the *** kicking they deserve by the law.
