Does it change how you shop at the grocery store? I made my decision on a item yesterday, based on it being a Upromise contributor. I am just wondering if other parents do this.

It makes absolutely no difference in how I shop and where I go to eat. I never give it a second thought. Usually I do remember to log in correctly so that I get credit for my online purchases. Sometimes I forget to do it though.
We have accumulated a little over $1,000 in our account. All the boys are out of college now so I guess it will go to the grandchildren if we have any. If not, then it will go to the great nieces and nephews.
I like upromise because it's a very passive way to save. I do nothing and the savings just happen.

And I have all my family signed up too. All my credits cards, groceries, and I don’t buy on the internet without going through UPromise first. Yes I also sometimes buy an item just because it is connected to UPromise, it’s worth it. It might seem like a little bit at first, but think of the years of adding to it. I started before they where in school. :)

I shop through their online link. I do this even when I could go to the store and buy it without paying shipping. It probably doesn't make sense but I am not a "mall" person. I really enjoy shopping online. I don't really make any decisions based on if the products at the grocery store are participating in upromise.

I used to but Giant Eagle has such high prices that I don't unless it's on sale. I have even tried to try and keep buying things online for the savings, but I forget alot or don't want to wait for something to come in the mail when I can right down the road to the store. It's nice if you can get people to sign up for you also, but then they have to remember. I have so many other things to remember and do that I just don't really worry to much at the grocery store.
