Hi :) I've never heard of your team, but generally competitive gymnasts are nice people and are close with their teammates, given how many hours they spend with each other and how hard they work to accomplish their goals together.
As gymnastics goes, your schedule is VERY relaxed. Most competitive teams practice anywhere between 16 and 24 hours per week. The reason I'm telling you that is because as you move up in the sport, your hours will most likely be increased. That's something you could ask the coaches about in order to help plan around cheerleading. I'm a little confused about the 1 competition a month thing... Usually there is a meet every weekend. Maybe this team is different from the norm. But anyway - yes, I would assume you'd have time to do both, but then again it depends on how much homework you have and whether you do other extra-curriculars.
I always did get nervous at meets, but looking back I really enjoyed the challenge.
You are scored out of 10 on each of the four events. The judges follow a guidebook that tells them how many tenths are to be deducted from your score for each little mistake. When you finish competing all four events, your scores will be added together for an All-Around score (possible 40 points).
Good luck!

I'm not sure what an All Star team is. I've heard names like that for programs specific to a gym, so I'd guess I'd have to know about your gym.
Every girl is different. Nobody on the internet can tell you whether the girls on your team will be nice.
It depends on how much homework you have, how quickly you do your homework, and how much "down time" you need. I would pick one first and then add the other if I think I'm ready, but if you don't have the choice to add one later, I say go for both. I wouldn't suggest also doing student council unless you love to be really busy.
Some people get nervous at competitions. Some people don't. Do you usually get nervous doing book reports at school?
I have no idea what competitions you're going to. I would guess that it's not the typical kind because your team has a different name, and it can't be very difficult because you're only practicing 4 hours a week, but you usually get points off for:
not doing the required moves or the required difficulty of moves.
bad body form: flexed feet, bent legs when you're not supposed to be tucked, not a tight enough tuck, etc.
Wobbling, hesitating, taking steps or hops on the landing of your tumbling or vaults, and especially falling.
Next time you ask a question specific to you, please put in more details.

I don't know what the All Star Team is... but you don't really get nervous in meets as long as you perform what you practiced. In meets you get deducted for having flexed feet, bent legs, etc. It's different for each league and whether you are competing compulsory or optional. But usually you do just fine.

Are you in Canada? i'm interior the US and that's slightly distinctive. At my gymnasium you are able to particularly lots attempt out for the gang once you're waiting- you do not could wait until the summer season. i think of you're waiting yet you may ask your coach what's needed.
