Can taking pain killers irritate your gums?

Everytime I take a pain killer for pain (Norco 7.5/325) if I take more than two a day, my gums get really red and painful. The corners of my mouth get irritated too. I have never heard of this. Could I be allergic to them? Or is this sometimes common with these types of meds?

Update:

Lioness, I gave you a thumbs up. I had 3 spammers I reported and I am sure they gave you the thumbs down, not me.

Discuss this with your doctor. You're probably allergic. Don't continue taking them.

Source(s): Myself. By the way pain pills are horrible things I advise you stay away from them unless your pain is severe.
