Homebrew hack on a wii, is it permanent?
If i hack the wii and do the homebrew hack, is there anyway to restore the wii system back to original format, in case I ever have to send wii in for repair? Or once i do the hack, its done and if it ever needs repair to bad?

All Softmods (like the Homebrew Channel) CAN BE UNINSTALLED.
If you just stick with the Homebrew Channel itself, you can use the installer to uninstall everything. However, if you go further with your modding (beyond the Homebrew Channel), you'll have to work even harder to uninstall everything.
If your system is Hardmodded (with a mod chip), then your stuck with it.

You can uninstall the Homebrew Channel like a regular channel. However, once you soft mod your wii, all of its warranty is voided. Nintendo will know if it has been modifed and will either charge you about $200 -300 to do simple repairs or not even repair it at all. they may also send you a diffrent wii with all of you info on it.

you can just delete the homebrew channel just like any other channel. if you installed dvdx and if you used banneerbomb insert the sd card in and go to wii, data management, thn channels and then insert the card when it pops up load boot.dol/elf? press yes untill it goes to the hack mii iinstallerONLY IF YOU HAVE 3.0U through 4.0U!!! IF U HAVE 4.1 or 4.2Upress the sd card icon on the wii menu
