Can my landlord come into my back yard everyday to do yard work and house repair withou nocitce?

I would like to know if its legal for my landlord to come to my house (back yard) everyday to do yardwork, and house repairs with out a notice. He comes here everyday early in the morning and starts making loud noises with the lawnmower, electric drill or sometimes he is hammering something. He wakes me up like this everyday in the mornings monday thru friday and sometimes on weekends too. I am very fed up with this!! to add this problem he harrases me sexually he makes sexual comments one time he even grope me. I warned hin not to ever do that again! he just laughed and said that he was just playing. I had put up with his insolence since I moved here 7years ago. Please help!! I suffer a lot. Is soon is I hear him in the morning I feel streesed out. I try telling him that I dont like him coming here every day, he responds by telling me that if I dont like it to move out. He is very rude to me. pls help he is driving me crazy!!! I have no money to move out to a new place. I pay here 1200 drls a month + uitlities for a 2 bed/2bath house. wich is a good deal considering that elsewhere i would pay same amount for an apartment. As soon as I gather some money to move out I will do so. But in the meantime I have to stay here.

Legally he can do repair work around the house and yard but not to the point where it is becoming harassment like what you have just describe. What I would advise you to do is talk with your a local attorney on Landlord & Tenant laws and see what can be done.

It is best to have this video taped if you can, the more evidence of harassment the better. You pay your rent and you are entitled to peace and not being woke up in the early mornings. As for the sexual comments it is best to carry a tape recorder on you when he approaches you; you should press the record button. This works best if you have it in your pocket.

If he is going this far to doing things, I would purchase a mini hidden camera for your house, to see if he is doing illegal entering. Where I reside the law is that a landlord have to give you notice when he is coming in unless there is an emergency such as a broken pipe, fire or etc.

I hope this get work out for you.

It will tell you in your tenancy agreement what he is allowed to do or not do, but why do you stay in the house when you could rent an apartment and have a hassle free life?

Don;'t even need to read it. yes he can. You rent the home. he must give notice to enter the home. He can do whatever he wants on the outside. Are you honestly complaining that he is maintaining the place?

Legally he can enter HIS yards and do maintenance on HIS HOUSE any time he wants to as long as it does not break local noise laws,

He only has to inform you if he is going to enter the house.

It sounds like the biggest problem is your attitude, this is not your property, it is his property and you will not be able to prevent him from accessing and maintaining it.
