With so many kids and adults going out to costume parties dressed as superheroes and vampires, imagine wearing something different. Making a splash with your originality. What a surprise if you chose from among statue Halloween costumes, perhaps even fooling a few people. It all depends on your dedication to the look. Stores may carry the basics, but make-up is a must, plus a flare for adding your own special touches.

I love the birds idea! Otherwise a regular zombie would be great, just use some old clothes, stain them up a bit then use white glue and makeup for the zombie look itself. If you're handy at sewing you could make a 'prom' dress out of an old sheet, a bit of dye etc. or even a shower curtain. If not, and you really want the prom route, try a second hand store.

I think that a funny costume for a girl would be a fancy dress over a skeleton costume. Then you tell people that you are a super model. Ha ha.

I think the best costumes are the ones you make and not the ones from the stores - because they are not very original. Have fun w/ whatever you decide to do!
