Does a DSi XL seem big for a 9 year old?

My son is considering a DSi or a DSi XL. He likes the idea of the XL, but is afraid the XL would seem kind of big or heavy. Anyone have kids that like the DSi XL?

    from what i've read from other users they say it's too big + they tell others users who

    want to get a DSI XL to get the DSI instrad because it's better & not so heavy..i mean i haven't seen

    the DSI XL in person but i know i wouldn't want 1 ..so i suggest you take your son to GAMESTOP & ask the clerk to show you both the DSI & DSI XL he'll tell which 1 is better for your son to have...Glad to help

    I have a 5 year old and a 4 year old

    they each have a DSi XL and it's not that much bigger from the DSi

    they carry it around with no problems

    is huge but it don't matter ur kid will grow into it ^_^. but is a heavier then the ds lite and dsi. but the good thing screens bigger. is the top of the line now
