If someone always says " You know" when ask a serious question, during every statement are they lying?

This is a boyfriend under questioning on his womans dissaperence

She was pulled from a river in her car, windows open, on a strech of road that she should not have been

I saw the area, and did a pace count, she did not drive there and end up in the river, by herself.

    It means they are nervous. It does not necessarily mean they are lying.

    No. Some people habitually say "you know" all the time, the same way people say "um" or "uh." However, if they never say "you know" but they are now, it *may* be a sign that they are lying (or something else is not right).

    yes obviously bcoz they say "you know"..but we dont know
