Are crooked teeth a turn off or braces?
well my top teeth are perfect but two of my bottom ones are crooked due to over crowding and i think my wisdom teeth are making it worse. anyway, i've only just startedto become really self consious of them. they're not noticeable when i smile but they are when i talk and a couple of people have asked me if im getting braces. i'm not sure if braces would be worth it. would they be more of a turn off than my teeth? i think they;re affecting the way i talk aswell..

I DEFINITELY would get them! I have them, and It was the best decision of my life, I had the same problem as you [Top teeth are perfect, but 2 of my bottom ones are crooked because of over-crowding]
They made me really self conscious, now that I have them I love them, everybody says I look pretty with braces [Gee... If only I could keep them. LOL]
I'm really just excited to get them off too so I can just have my straight teeth with out all the metal in my mouth xD
=) Hope I helped you decide, or at least make you consider braces a bit more!

I don't think crooked teeth are that bad. I had braces, but then forgot to wear my retainer often enough and my bottom teeth got a little crooked. I just have one bottom tooth that comes in front of the other ones, but it isn't bad. It's not like your front teeth have a giant gap in them or something. If it is the top, it is much more noticeable than the bottom. it is kind of rude for people to be asking you if you are getting braces! That's like pointing out that you're teeth are crooked and assuming you want that fixed. I think you should go to the orthodontist. He will probably suggest braces, but you may be able to get the invisalign (clear retainer/braces), which is barely noticeable at all.

I would get the braces, this way your teeth won't be crooked anymore and won't affect the way you talk. Plus braces aren't forever and you'll have nice teeth afterward. For me I have no problem with braces since my friend used to wear them and so did my cousin but when it comes to crooked teeth then I guess it would depend on how bad they were and how many were crooked but lets face it if you have bad crooked teeth then that would be a turn off for most people.

well to me, crooked teeth are not a turn off. I have a friend who has terrible terrible teeth. they are crooked, crossing over, spaced, some behind, some in front, etc. people call her "razer mouth" which is sad. but she has the most beautiful smile ever! she's always laughing and smiling, not even thinking about what her teeth look like. I mean, I'm sure she's self conscious, but she makes it look like she's not. my point is that it doesn't matter if 2 bottom teeth are crooked. to me, straight teeth are amazing, but if you only have 2 crooked teeth than i'm sure you'll be able to live without braces. BUT, if you think they will make you feel more confident in yourself & your smile, then definitely go for it. braces are not a turn off at all! it just means you're getting your teeth fixed and that you're gonna have a pretty smile after! like you said, your top teeth are perfect. :)
maybe you won't even need braces. maybe invisalign would be enough for you. (bottom only?)
what I'm getting at is that it's all up to you. if you think you'll feel better after you get braces, get them. if you're fine with your teeth, than don't! =)
hope I helped!

I wear braces, and they are a better option that permanent crooked teeth. I just got them on a few weeks ago so I'm still a little bit self-conscious, but nobody cares if you have braces if you don't make a stink about it. You can also get clear braces, which are a little more expensive but less noticeable.

Talk to your friends/parents and ask are they affecting the way you talk and can you notice them. Crooked teeth are a turn off and I've noticed girls look prettier with braces, so if you have to get braces, I'd get them if I were you.

Braces aren't horrible, I remember when people were younger
everyone wanted them. They will definitely take away the insecurity of
having crooked teeth because once you get them off, your teeth will be
perfect.

no way braces are cute and at least after there gone your teeth will be perfect and if they're affecting how you talk you should defiantly get them as a speech problem can some times be more of a turn off.

my teeth were really crooked before. then i had braces for about 2 years and i LOVE them now. i love my smile, i just love it.
i'm insanely happy i had the chance to get them fixed. no one makes fun of you for having braces because most people do get them.
and no they don't make kissing different. when i was dating my ex we both had braces.
but i guess it's up to you, do you want to deal with that the rest of your life or do you want the chance to fix your teeth?

Braces are nice as long as they don't stick our of your face. Crooked teeth are kind of a turn off.
