How do I start pagination with a specific number in word 2007?

I am working on a very large document that I am dividing into sections. I want the pages to be numbered consecutively across all documents. How do I make Word start pagination of the sections with a specific number? For example, my first section ended with page 58, and I want to start the next section with page 59. How do I do that????

There's no way to have one document pick up where another left off, but you can force the numbering to start at a particular value this way:

    1. Click the Insert tab of the Ribbon.

    2. Click Page Number.

    3. Click Format Page Numbers.

    4. Set the list box next to Start At to the page number you want to start at.

    5. Click OK.

    Hope that helps.

On Ribbon Goto <Insert> <Page number> on drop down menu select Format Page number - towards the bottom of the pop up screen you will see Page Numbering options (Continue from Previous Section/ Start at) select CFPS. Should do what you want.
