Questions about sleeping naked?

1) I just resorted to sleeping naked last week, a few times before that, but never really long term, but last week I tried doing it all week, my question is, I seem to not get as much sleep when I sleep naked even though it is more comfortable, is it because I am not quite used to it yet?

2) In the middle of the night, my "unmentionables" feel a bit warmer than usual, why? Shouldn't they be cooler? Is it because I sleep with a blanket? will sleeping uncovered resolve that issue?

3) Is it normal for the tip of my penis to feel more sensitive? possibly because of it rubbing against the sheets when I toss and turn?

I know this is personal, but please try to be mature when answering. Does it seem like there is anything wrong with what I am doing? Will there be any long term effects because of it?

    1. It could be because you are not used to it, sure. It could also be something else. Are you uncomfortable with nudity? Are you self conscious on some level? (I assume you are, since you call your penis an "unmentionable".

    2. Yes, it's the blanket. Skin needs to "breath". Because your jewels are always locked inside your undies, they have become accustomed to an unnatural climat of excess sweat and tight weave blocking the surrounding air flow. When you take your clothes off, and put a blanket over you, you create a different atmosphere, this one slightly more healthy, in which air is now surrounding your skin, but is still pocketed by the blanket, allowing your body heat to collect there. Your groin is one of the warmest, and most temperature sensitive parts of your body, so getting warm there under the blanket is normal when naked. Yes, removing the blanket will change that, by removing the air pocket over your genitals at night, but the sensations will be different still, and you will probably need to take some time to get used to it. (It's very healthy for you overall, and especially for your favorite organs.)

3 Yes it's normal for your penis (and any other skin that is covered up most of the time) to feel sensitive when you are naked. Your body will adjust. Besides, a lot of men who are naked in bed at night (for what ever reason) are also thinking, at least on some level, about sex. That means more blood flow, and attention to your penis and balls. They are more sensitive because of that blood flow and attention.

I have been sleeping naked for about 50 years and as far as i can tell with no problems. Most of your problems are in your head, or should I say mind. It may take you a little time to get use to.

I have been doing it for 5 years and I couldn't go back, I always found it cooler sleeping naked than with clothes on.

I can't really answer any of your questions. I sleep naked sometimes, mostly in the summer, and I don't seem to have any of those problems.

nothing wrong with sleeping naked, i love it and sleep more comfortably myself. As far as feeling as though you are sleeping to little; it is all in your head. Maybe subconsciously you are thinking too much about being nude in bed.

You are not alone my friend. However, it is very natural to sleep naked. Aren't you lucky to have all those lovely feelings while you sleep. Of course all of the things you are feeling are very natural. Hang in there, its worth it.

There is certainly nothing wrong with what you are doing. I think that the problems you are experiencing are just because you are not used to it. Give it some time and after awhile I would think that you will be fine.

Give it a little more time to adjust to it.

If you still have issues - then sleeping naked may not be for you.

    1) No idea, never tried sleeping naked

    2) its cause your penis is probabily on your thighs, when it normally isn't

    3) Its because you're used to wearing underwear. Not soft blankets.
