Interpretação: "A\lor B\!\," pode ser interpretada como "A\!\, ou B\!\,", "Entre as proposições A\!\, e B\!\,, ao menos uma é verdadeira".
Assim, se A\!\, significa "Fulano estuda filosofia" e B\!\, significa "Fulano estuda matemática", A\lor B\!\, pode ser interpretada como "Fulano estuda filosofia ou matemática"; o que só é falso se nem A\!\, nem B\!\, forem verdadeiras.
