Has hurricane Earl directly hit the Dominican Republic?
My hubby is in Punta Cana and due to come home tomorrow but may have to stay due to weather. I haven't been able to find out much about conditions in that area.

Hurricane Earl has missed the Dominican Republic by about 200 miles. All we suffered was a bunch of rain today that ended around 6pm at night. Right now it's 12:30am, the stars are out, and there's not a cloud in the sky! There is no way any flight is going to be delayed because of the weather in the Dominican Republic. However, if Earl is affecting the flight path of the airlines between PUJ and MIA, then maybe there could be a delay. Just know, that if your husband must stay, the weather here in Punta Cana is GREAT!
