Metalheads, what's your favorite non-metal genre of music?

I'd have to go with 70's Progressive Rock.

    Mine would be Dark Ambient and music from movie/game soundtracks like Silent Hill, The Cell, The Machinist, Halo etc. I like anything that is really dark, atmospheric and creepy.

    I love anything shreddy. Lots of baroque and neoclassical. Instrumental bluegrass and celtic music, with lots of fast fiddle work. I'm developing a taste for 70's and 80's funk now.

    On a serious note, I'd have to go with hard rock. Technically it's non-metal.
