photoshop typing problem?

Any photoshop guru in here? I am having a problem with the type tool in photoshop. Everytime I type something and hit enter to go down a new line it keeps typing on the same text line like on top of it! I tried to reset the prefs and reboot but no go.

Update:

I have both cs2 and cs4 installed and it was ok before.

    Probably you need to set the leading. Now follow this steps:

    * go to Window > Character

    * create any text

    * set the leading in Character window as (Auto) (it's right of the text size in the Character window)
