What's the proper name of the stylized brand name often in chrome on the back end of vehicles? Maxima etc..?

Not talking about dealership branding add-ons.

Example: a Nissan Maxima will have "MAXIMA" in chrome letters on the back end.

a Dodge Caravan has "Caravan" in chrome letters on the back

Also is there a database that has many images of these?

They are called badges or emblems under the umbrella parts category of "Trim". For the front(on the bonnet) they are called hood ordainments in the states. In the back they are usually just referred to as badges or emblems. Sometimes trunk badges/emblems. Laymen might call them "logos". However, if you ask a mechanic for "that shiny logo bit on the back of the car, like that says 'cadillac deville' all chromed out." He would probably understand.
