Project Runway question: Michael Costello?

I love Michael C. i think he has amazing talent, entertaining personality.

It comes down to Gretchen is a bully and Ivy is her lap dog.

I think what happened is the Gretchen is very insecure, and a bully. She went after him because he broke her winning strike. It's like a 5 year old throwing a fit because she isnt the center of attention. Yes, he asked for some cues for the group design challenge -but it was Gretchen's design asthestic, style, styling -and for Gretchen (and her pet Ivy) it's easier for her to bring down someone else than look at her own shortcomings.

Has you noticed even in next week's clip she's still whining about it?

I don't know! I think it is because of the dress he made when he won the first time. I thought it was beautiful but the rest have seen it before and didn't think he deserved it. I love him. He is hilarious and can be really sweet and suddenly became a super B*tch in the interviews. I liked him from the first episode and began to love him more when he made the killer comments about Jason. Gretchen and Ivy are just horrible people. Andy is okay I guess. But Michael can sew (thank God) and I hope he wins. Or Mondo because I love him too.

I agree with everyone else here. Michael Costello is a fine designer and the dress he made in this past challenge was both edgy and elegant. It seems clear to both the experts (the judges) and the audience that he is talented, so I think it is just poor sportsmanship and sour grapes on the behalf of the other contestants. Ivy's designs are not only bland and frumpy, but she lacks sophistication in both construction and character. She is snotty, nasty and a childish bully. It wouldn't surprise me if she made up the whole thing about Michael telling people not to vote her, because it is evident she has the maturity level of a middle school girl. I hope her representation on this show ends up being the nail in the coffin to any career in fashion design she might have had, because people who have to tear and claw others apart due to their own lack of talent do not deserve to succeed on any level.

Gretchen is also a bossy bully. While talented, she is nowhere near as talented as she thinks she is. I think everyone cheered when Tim brought her down a few pegs last week, as she was sorely in need of a wake up call.

That being said, I really enjoy the work of Mondo, Andy and Valerie. Mondo has the most innovative aesthetic out of all the designers on the show, so I really hope he makes it to Bryant Park. I would love to see a whole collection of his.

They seem to look down on him for not knowing much technically but, so far, that isn't interfering in his ability to design cute clothes. I mean, that dress last night was SO cute and definitely excelled in the challenge. While I've liked Gretchen's clothes for the most part, that outfit last night deserved to be in the bottom! Her model looked like a linebacker in hooker boots and a dirty tank top. This is a snobby group, that is for sure! And, I think Ivy made up that Michael was talking about her, just to cause some drama. She's has deserved to go for quite some time, frankly. Her clothes look like boring mall clothes with zero design interest!!

I put this question in googled because I wanted to know and ended up here! For real!! Why does everyone hate him? Can't they see what they're doing to his emotions? It's like watching middle schoolers pick on the clearly suicidal but really amazing kid. It's just sad!! And he's so talented. I feel like people just want to hate someone and they go for the person who's outfits make you think "That's too much it'll never work" but ends up shining because of the risks and the craftsmanship so they hate him for it. They're just made that they aren't winning.

And for the record, Project Runway editing crew, I don't care if you show Gretchen talking to her mommy; it doesn't make her any less of a *****.

I totally agree! Michael is such a sweetheart! He obviously has talent if he's won two challenges. The other designers just don't understand him or don't like his designs, but they just need to get over that.. I hope Michael goes really far, and if he beats Ivy and Gretchen I'll be so happy!!

It's because they are threatened. I can't stand that long-faced ***** Gretchen. She needs to take her hating *** home already. Ivy and the Asian dude are clearly followers. I wonder who they'll latch onto when Gretchen is eliminated.

I love him just because everyone hates him. He did not deserve to be hated like that. I think he has talent and I am rooting for him. All those haters are so bitter. Team Michael!
