Sociology of the football section?

This will all be personal opinion for each answer. But can anyone give me an idea on how one question gets 1TU for answering, lets say A

And two posts later another user also says A and gets 4TUs?

why is that? do some people just see a friendly name and TU it? do cliques really exist? (ha ha)

How do users get 2 stars per question on average? or over 20% BA?

All theories welcome I just dont know the answer.

FQ Do you ever feel sorry for Legends like Hansen busting his @ss on MOTD while some very average players are millionnaires and set for life?

Update:

EDIT sorry sorry haha Im not saying Hansen is in slave labour but if he played today he'd be on at least 70-80k a week.

PS star me you *&^%^&'s haha

Update 2:

True bloosboy. But ive had this since 2002 and everyone just calls me frosty anyway haha. Maybe its an image change I need... ^_^

People have contacts on here and star their favourite users questions. It's a bit like on polls on surveys. High BA% is nothing special and most people get them from their contacts, I know someone with 74% best answer and that's from having top contributor badges in over 5 categories. Seriously, it's just their contacts giving best answers and stars.

  • Change your name - Frosty02uk is too much of a mouthful and does little to promote you as a real person - just Frosty would be better. Cliques do not exist, but friendships and rivalries do - people are more likely to TU friends than enemies - simples.

Hansen's TV salary would be well into six figures, so I don't feel sorry for him, no.

Everyone knows the footie section is full of friends and friends of friends which is OK.

Just never try to post an answer about whether bottle feeding is better than breast feeding in the mummies section, and NEVER EVER tell people that if they're too stupid to choose the names for their own children they shouldn't have children in the first place :-)

OK - I'll risk it - since when is that overrated Hansen a legend??????

Bet I get less thumbs down than from the bottle feeders.....

Users with extremely high BA are usually multi account holders

I BA something I either agree with or makes me laugh... often its a contact , particularly the funny answers. However I once gave a BA to someone I didn't get on with, to receive a rude email for it saying I was taking the p*ss.. can't win can you?

change of image? to what pray..

From an objective point of view, I do believe that some people star questions because of who the asker is, regardless of content.

To become a top contributor you need a steady stream of BA's and points.

    FQ; Feel sorry for Hansen?...hahahaha

If my question is actually serious (rarely) I give best answer to the one I actually agree with. If it's a joke question, I'll most likely give BA to the person who makes me laugh. It's hard not to give BA to the users who are here regularly and users who are on my contact list because they are the ones who answer my questions!

I just star any question to be honest. Whether it's funny, stupid or I just feel like staring!

Its just how it is if some people likes someone they will thumb up they will thumb up star and give best answers. If they dont like you they thumb down and report. Its just how life is for some people you help out the ones you like and dont the ones you dont like and EVERYONE has done this at some point.

Its easy to make internet pals but even easier to make internet enemys and get trolled

I tend to BA my contacts. But they are usually the ones who answer my questions the most.

If someone makes me laugh, they have a great chance at a BA or thumbs up...regardless if we are contacts or not.

    Also...cleavage is good

i tend to give BAs, TUs and stars to my favourite users who make me laugh and are good to talk with about serious issues as well. you can call it a 'clique' but actually it's just being friendly as Bloos said

BA and TU/TD all rely on who you know on here, lots of people talk to each other way from Y!A so naturally there going to favour them people and agree with their answers.
