Is a silver cap normal for this tooth?
My daughter had a cavity and the dentist put a silver cap on it. The tooth was the fourth one back. I asked about a white one but they said they only do silver.

Mostly its silver because the dentist has polished it. It's actually cement(gray) but after he finished patching the cavity, he would slowly push it down into the tooth to make sure there isn't any air bubbles then after that he would polish it. Had several cavities, mostly on the molars all of them are silver til they don't get brushed, then they turned a little brownish silver

It relies upon on if the everlasting teeth are waiting to return in. the only way you will understand for particular is to return to the dentist and function her x-rayed. If the everlasting teeth are in place and coming it, they might needless to say displace the little one teeth. it particularly is somewhat early for that, yet no longer fantastic. And no depend if it particularly is not any longer the reason, you will particularly desire the dentist to point you on what to do next.
