Hypothetical Potential Tiger's Scenario, your thoughts?
We let Johnny Damon go after this one mediocre year even after he defended the D, and trade for Nyjer Morgan who Kurkijan says the Nats will be looking to move. Someone mentioned this to me and i think it would be a decent fall back if Crawford signs elsewhere. We should also Re-Sign Magglio he's meant alot to this team

Nyjer Morgan is a poor mans Crawford who is more then capable of hitting .300 and he's not a drama queen, unless your the kind of person that doesn't like an Ochocinco like approach to sports.
I'll never understand why the let Polanco go, obviously it wasn't because sizemore was ready to take over

Damon is on the downhill side of his career, so I wouldn't sign him again. Especially not if Magglio is going to be the DH.
Morgan is not exactly a poor man's Crawford. He is a plus fielder and has plus-plus speed on the bases, but he has no power at all. Crawford has hit 15 home runs this year and his OPS is .819; Morgan has hit none with an OPS of just .635 (for reference, MLB average OPS from 1994 to 2004 was .784). Angel Pagan is a poor man's Carl Crawford.
Morgan will be available, yes, but I don't think he's a positive element to very many teams. I certainly don't think he'd be good for the Tigers.

One guy I don't want on my the Tigers is Nyjer Morgan. He is a drama queen. I'd rather see Wells, Jackson, and Boesch in the outfield and Maggs as the DH.

Nyjer Morgan is terrible. He's an average player who is a head case and THINKS he is much better then he really is. He also has never played on a winning team.
You gotta re-sign Magglio
