How do I loosen up my back muscles quickly?

I have a chronic slipped disc in my lower back right above my pelvic bone. I usually keep stretched and am able to twist my hips to get it to straighten back out. I have been sick for the past week and I haven't been able to stretch or exercise. Now my lower back hurts and I can't get it to pop back into place. I can try heating pads and such, but that usually takes a few days before the muscles start to loosen up enough for me to get to go back in place. Anything I can do that would get it pop back in the next few hours?

I know what your talking about. I threw my back out during wrestling practice a year ago, but it can be fixed quickly. Go off the edge of a hard surface like a table or desk and do trunk lifts. That means go face down with the top half of your body hanging off the edge, and lift yourself up as high as possible. Do 4 sets of 10 to achieve best results. You should feel the pop in your back quickly, but keep doing this to strengthen the lowerback and prevent future injury.
