I didn't lose my hair whilst going through my treatment for cancer, and i asked the same question to my oncologist. He pretty much told me not to do it, as he believed it could increase hair loss/thinning of the hair. I followed his advise, and now i'm in remission i can dye it all i want.

    I'm glad i didn't whilst i was going through Chemo (:

I didn't have hair when I was fighting cancer, but as I had been told that the treatment I was on was guaranteed to cause hair loss, i decided to have fun that last few weeks I had hair.

I had a major hair cut (half way down back to a short style) and then dyed it.

Copper hair dye on blond hair goes orange - but very bright and cheerful!

If hair loss is not guaranteed, I would avoid dying it as it may increase the hair loss.

My sister recently had a cancerous breast lump and lymph nodes removed and was told she cannot bleach her hair any longer, she started the chemo and her hair started falling out and has been warned again not to bleach her hair.

not a good idea but if it makes her feel any better go for it.

I wish her well with her treatment and hope your mum makes a full recovery.

    God bless.
