POLL: What was your most traumatizing experience as a kid?

When I was attacked by a huge mangy dog.

I was 9 and I had two broken arms. I had just arrived at the bus stop and two of my friends were throwing wood bark pieces from the landscaping at this dog and it came and attacked me! It knocked me down and rolled me out onto a busy street. I had one cast that went to my arm pit and used that to put into the dog's face to keep him from biting me, and I used the other cast (the arm I could bend) to beat the dog over the head, hoping he would go away. I can still see the stupid dog snarling and slobbering all over me trying to maul me. All of a sudden I hear SCHRRREEEEECCCCCHHHHHH! I though I was a gonner! I thought for sure I was about to be ran over. Then I hear these two loud thuds and the dog make that cry noise, and the man who almost hit me was standing there with a tire iron. He asked me if I was okay and if I needed to call anyone. I told him I was fine and he waited there at the bust stop with us until the bus came. When I got home from school, I got in trouble for breaking my cast...again. My mom didn't believe the dog story and that was the most upsetting part of my day from hell!!

BTW...my friend later confirmed my dog attack and my mom felt bad for not believing me.

There are some polls questions you shouldn't ask... some ppl don't want to bring up those memories. But the least traumatizing for me would be having half of my body/face rcut up from an accident.

I stayed with my mom for a while

and she was with this guy who would beat her up.

And one night I was woken by them screaming and I saw him bashing

my mom's head into the wall.

I was terrified of men for the longest time after that.

I wasn't allowed to have male teachers in school

and I would hide when my dad came home from work, even though

my dad wouldn't do something like that.

When I accidentaly spilled a cup of boiling hot water which resulted in 3rd degree burns and 3 weeks in the hospital.

I got hit by a car.i was crossing the street between my house and my aunts.I ran into the street and ! Wham mo! i got hit.

hearing my mum and dad "doing it" no one should ever have to hear that.

i mean really, there's children in the house.

when my dad and brothers were in a serious car accident.

they almost died.
