Hi guys, i am wondering will all the data such as unlocked stages and characters from Melee be saved on the wii, or do i have to have to stick in old game cube memory card in order to save Melee? Thanks in advance.

You have to put in your old game cube memory card inside the wii to make any game cube game work. So once its in, put your game cube controller in the wii, and go to the disc channel and launch your game.

You will have to use your GC memory card because the CD's are different and the GC and Wii have two different softwares. Hope this Helped!!!

You'll need that old GameCube memory card, as well as a GameCube controller.
