THe Yankees lost to the Indians because of Jaba Chamberlain with the nats all over his face in Cleveland. Those are the things I remember. I recognize that rooting for an underdog or a protracted shot is exceptional however on this case I suppose that is ludicrous. Still, the Rockies' run was INCREDIBLE.

They were on an amazing role in the last month in the season and were (during that time) one of the best teams in history winning 21 out of 22 games. That is until the 1 week lay off and which may have cost them the World Series like it did with 06 Tigers, and 09 Phillies.

They had a very impressive end of the season run & won their Division beating the Padres in a 1 game Playoff. They then swept the Phils & DBacks in the NLDS & NLCS respectively before being swept by the Red Sox in the World Series. It was a pretty decent run & they had nothing to be ashamed of.

I'm pretty sure they did a great job losing to the Sox in 4 straight, so nobody cares what they accomplished before.
