Good starting video for youtube?

I have a Youtube channel, and I post a lot of weird stuff, but it's really fun, and I encourage you to try it out! All the same, Youtube is public, and you shouldn't post anything that you think your friends would laugh at, because ANYONE can view your work, and if you want to become big (like Shane Dawson etc.) the best place to start would be to advertise among the people you know, so that you can start getting views. And if your parents wouldn't want you on Youtube, you have to ask yourself why But it's your choice. Remember that youtube doesn't have to be super-professional. Just have fun! Personality and creativity will be the biggest help if you do decide to create a channel

You could do a 10, 20, 50 things about me video.

and to keep people interested, get a good camera and edit your videos

so there's no awkward silences. no one wants to watch a video with

you going on and on about random stuff. you could also make

a lets say tutorial video every friday, a vlog on wednesday and saturday a rant. etc etc.

keep your subscribers updated, make a twitter, facebook, myspace if you dont already

have one.

mske fun of other vloggers or people on youtube. And then explain why your videos are going to be different and more exciting.

do a whats in my purese video or whats in my school bag or if you like makeup then you can show your favorite makeup or you can show how to do a certain hairstyle

if you can't think of entertaining stuff yourself you shouldn't be on youtube

no one is going to watch it!!
