can you make sweet chilli jam with green chillis?

I have a recipe using red chillis and peppers but I only have green ones at the moment and no time to wait till they go red...will it still be OK to use for chilli jam?

    Good for you, i'm usually too lazy to make my own. I have Jalapeno jelly in the fridge right now. It's green.

    i'm not all that specific approximately that yet i understand that purple peppers contain greater supplements than green peppers...it fairly is why they're usually greater high priced...yet approximately chilli i might wager that purple has greater supplements besides yet take the advice of expert chilli eaters who understand for specific..x
