ich question experts only?

ok so i have a 55 gallon aquarium with one angel 2 bala sharks 1 rainbow shark and 1 pleco the bala sharks have ich so i went to the store to buy medicine i got rid ich+ it says that i need to remove the carbon does it mean the filter pad and also do i remove the the bio fiber too?

    You need to remove the carbon, so if your media filter has carbon you'll have to remove. Carbon negates the medicine so that's what it tells you that.. Leave the bio filter

    For basica table salt treatment ( I use uniodized as well ) Is 2 tsp. Per gallon of water. Dosed out at 3-4 hour intervals. Dilute first. Never add salt straight :)

    Yes, that is what it means. The bio filter should be fine.

    The medicine alone may not take care of it. You need to raise the temp AND add aquarium salt (or non-ionized). Search the web for the amounts of dosage of salt.
