I was so completely heartbroken at the ending of Dexter. Did anyone else feel that way?
I just couldn't believe what happened.

Well, I feel that they had been building up to that character's death by making her much more annoying. At first, I had to rewind though it to see if it was a dream, but after realizing it wasn't, I was actually happy to see the show returning to its darker side.
