Can't place e.l.f order, keep getting this error message, help please!!?

Please correct the following errors:

Sorry, we were unable to process your transaction. The reason given was:

"05 - AUTH DECLINED 12001"

Please check your information email us at elf@eyeslipsface.com

This is the error message that i just keep getting at checkout. I googled this to see maybe how i could fix this. Another person was having this problem and an e.l.f employee told her to check over her billing information and stuff and i did and all of my information is right.

Did any of you guys have this same problem? Did you ever get to place your order? If this happened to you before tell me what happened/ did to solve the problem.

Update:

for anybody eles having this problem, i fianlly fixed my problem. It was a brand new gift card that wasn't registered on the visa website, so all i had to do was register it online and then i was able to make my order

    OMG yes it did I ended up having to email e.l.f its self to get them to fix it ! it endend up being a error on there site from to many orders. so i tell doing just that email them and have them figure it out . i was soo worried when that happen to me i love e.l.f!

    about 2 weeks ago i placed an order and mine processed fine, maybe the type of card your using or maybe the system is just down, wait a day or to and the try make sure ur not being billed multiple times sometimes viruses hack the pages
