    Zen Palate

663 Ninth Ave. (at 46th St)

    New York, NY 10036

    Check out their menu: http://www.zenpalate.com/cuisineMenu.php?site_id=4...

I love this restaurant. It is a vegetarian place. I have taken many non vegetarians there and everyone raves about it. The menu is Asian. The food is flavorful and healthy, a rare combination.

the Antipasto Bar, right as you walk in the door, is incredible.

to make reservation on line, click on reservations on the home page and you can select you date and time.

Besides the hot and cold antipasti specialties of vegetables and seafood, the menu features updated Italian classics and specialty Roman dishes. There is a large selection of seafood, steak, veal & pasta.

I usually order veal and my boyfriend LOVES the pizza and the Osso Buco di Vitello Milanese.Entrees $20-40. We usually spend around $100, including drinks. Worth every penny.

don't want to go out? they deliver:

Florida-style seafood with a NYC spin. Lobster roll is the most popular item, and sells out early most nights. Brooklyn version of the same restaurant has a bigger dining room. www.marysfishcamp.com/reviews.html

I'm glad you brought up Per Se, which is owned by one of the top 5 chefs in the U.S. (Thomas Keller, who also owns The French Laundry, which is the best restaurant in the U.S.), if not in the entire world. Because you like Per Se, I suggest following; -Daniel -Jean-Georges -Le Bernardin -Masa -Gordon Ramsay @ The London -Alto -Corton -Gilt -Picholine
