Logo licensing needed?

I use rugby balls, typically ones that have team names/ brand names on them, to make purses out of by attaching handles and zippers, etc. I buy the balls through websites/ ebay/ or in stores with the logos already on them. Im not putting the logos on the balls myself. Anybody know what needs to be done to legally clear me?... as this business is growing! Also, sometimes people send me the ball they want made into a purse... how do i get around any red tape legally, if there is any? Thank you!

Update:

Ok i'd really like a HUMAN to answer me and not SPAM, please! geesh!

I think you should be OK. These are one-of-a-kind, hand-made goods, and there's no way you can make the product without including the name. You are not hindering the market of the ball manufacturer's, since your product does not compete with them, nor are you trying to pass them off as replicas.

Legally, I think you are fine. But if you want to clear your mind, you can always send a letter to the companies explaining what you do and asking if they mind your use of their products. If they answer you at all, chances are that they welcome the unique use of their product.
