The human race evolved to be the dominant life form on Earth as a direct result of fighting for survival.
So you would rather be put to death, lose the wonderful thing that is life, than do what is occasionally necessary.
Hitler and all the other bullies and dictators through history would have succeeded if most people had your attitude.

Death penalty

i wouldnt take either of them at its plenty of reasons why i would be typing all day if i list them all.
the first reason is that its in the word of god. exdous 21 chapter what verse idk ne . its a list of commandments that were written back before jesus time . it states "THOU SHALT NOT KILL.
thats plain and simple but ppl break that commandment daily. everyday u look at ur local news and there headlines like this for example. " teen shot at local night club" more at 11pm. dont u get tired of hearing this because i do. im a little off topic but im just stating why i would kill/murder my fellowman. i know i dont like i alot ppl but i wouldnt wanna kill them and spend life in jail for it . to me its not worth that at all.
i would take the death penalty either because when i die i want to it to be of old age or just that god decided it was time for me to go home. i dont want to die while im awake and can see whats going on. r u serious.

what do you get the death penalty for? im pretty sure youre other choices in which to receive the death penalty are along the lines of kiddie fiddling and sexual battery of a minor.

Depends on the circumstances. If I could save someone else by killing an attacker, I would do so.
As for murder, which is different from killing, well, that depends on whom I would have to murder.

i see all man find as souls using the body to get around in and have experiences as humans as there have not found the source that drives our brains yet and in this i see the soul as the driver yet through out time we have conditions our selves to react to situations i think that to put a person to death because of some crime would be judgmental but a part of me see that rencarnation would bring his soul back in a different body with little or no memory of who he was ,so in saying this i would see that reabilitation would be the way to go or isolation

Disagree. If I had to I would kill someone. I dont know why people act like its not ok to kill in self defense, I would do it under the right circumstances.

I would only kill to protect my children, I would not consider it a good career move.
@ Black rabbit it was Herbert Spencer that said survival of the fittest not Darwin, he said adaptation to their surroundings is why us and other animals have evolved.

If my life or those in my care are being threatened I would defend us ...Hopefully no one would be killed.....But I have no qualms about knocking someone out, tying them up and calling the authorities.
But still your question is ludicrus because if no one is killed why would you go to jail?

When I was in the situation where people were shooting at me, I shot back and tried to hit them. Don't know if I did, but I tried and I had that expert marksman badge on top of it.
